The reinforcing profile — the steel intensifying element which is in PVC profile and necessary for giving of rigidity of a window design and opposition to operational loadings. The metal reinforcing profiles represent lengthy elements 6 m long with obligatory existence of a zinc covering.

As metal in PVC of a profile can be subject to the aggressive, destroying influence of some substances which are in structure of the air environment, the reinforcing profiles are made only of galvanized steel with a certain thickness of a zinc covering. At contact with air on a surface of the reinforcing profile there is a layer of "carbonic zinc" which protects it from corrosion and undesirable oxidation. The zinc covering is reliably connected to a surface of metal and forms effective protection of the reinforcing profile in a window.
